Throughout much of history, civilization has advanced at a steady pace. Each generation brings a better understanding of ourselves and the world in which we live. Occasionally this progression is interrupted by new ideas that challenge what we think we know: the heliocentric model of the solar system…germ theory…quantum physics…just to name a few. Sometimes, when these radical ideas have been explored, we emerge with a completely different view of our existence, Since the beginning, mankind has searched for other sentient beings. We’ve searched for God…for ghosts…for legendary creatures like elves and mermaids…even for Martians. But Man still finds himself alone in this vast universe. What if that is about to change? How would our view of humanity change if we were to find ourselves face to face with “Another”?

The Bible is a story of both failure and victory. Sometimes there is horror in the victory and sometimes there is wisdom gained in failure. Having experienced the power of fellowship, I wonder at my own reticence to accept the responsibility for the value of my story - for encouragement and understanding. Are we candles under a basket, or on a hill? Our stories are an offering.
